Enjoy a Two Night Glamping Break For two adults, with up to two children and dogs welcome at an additional fee. Relax in an idyllic and secluded lakeside location. After a warm welcome, you’ll be shown to your Pod, where you will find two quality beds and mattresses. Our Pods are perfect for couples, but they can also accommodate up to an additional 2 children if required. You can bring any additional airbeds with you - or hire them on site for £3 each. You'll also need your own bedding, whether that’s cosy sleeping bags or your favourite double-duvet, plus sheets and pillows.
The nearby Lakeside Lodge houses your kitchen amenities - kettle, microwave, toaster and a fridge-freeze. The lodge is also home to three wet rooms, with toilets and hot showers, and power sockets to keep all your electronics charged and ready for use. There is also an additional toilet block nearer to the pods.
Make full use of the outdoor cooking opportunities with disposable BBQs available to buy on site. Each pod also has its own fire pit, with logs and firelighters available for purchase. There’s plenty to see and do onsite and in the surrounding area, including coarse fishing for carp, country walks and pubs, or venture into Blackpool for even more excitement. For kids, there’s even a ‘Mini-Pod’ packed with a mini-pod to play in and toys and games available to buy on site.
Free daily animal feeding of the lambs and the chickens as well as collecting fresh eggs. We stock Wallings ice cream and sell tea, freshly ground coffees, and Luxury Hot chocolates with whipped cream and marshmallows.
Your lakeside accommodation is fully insulated to keep the warmth in, while your individual fire-pit can keep the chills away outside. A stone’s throw from your pod, you’ll find the fully equipped Lakeside Lodge, home to kitchen facilities and plug points. Or you can dodge the lodge altogether and cook up a storm on the BBQ – just don’t burn the sausages!
With plenty to do both on and off site including coarse fishing for carp and country walks, there’s never been a better time to get your glamp on.
Why not add a fishing pass to your experience...The onsite former trout lake was established over 10 years ago, meaning the lake is well developed and has depths of around 15 feet, with interesting features for the Carp.
Currently sizes range up to 22.5lbs, mostly commons, leathers, and mirrors. There are also Roach & Rudd.
